Anyone here follow tanker stocks? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 11:31 PM PDT The supply and demand situation is unique to each sector (crude oil, refined products, etc.) but a name I was watching for a long time, NAP, just dropped over 60% the past 2 days when they cut their dividend by over 50%. The writing was on the wall for a while, as far as their dividend being unsustainable, given where crude oil tanker rates were. It just made me think why not more people were shorting this (and many other tanker names that were paying unsustainable dividends). Seems like that would be a good strategy. [link] [comments] |

How has Best Buy survived vs AMZN? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 06:35 AM PDT Anyone has a good summary on why Best Buy has done reasonably well vs pure online players? I.p., what exact costs have they cut, etc. Appreciate any facts on how they managed to maintain/stabilize margins. [link] [comments] |
