Posted: 25 Jan 2022 06:14 AM PST The easiest and most common way is to think about your friends and acquaintances. You may definitely find someone who has a certain set of professional and personal attributes you need. A good marketer, an IT specialist, a salesperson, a designer, or a financier. In any case, this option carries risks, since you cannot know the professional qualities of your friend / acquaintance, and it is unlikely you have been in such stressful situations with them before, and a startup is a constant source of stress. The second way is through former or current colleagues. In most cases, a startup is not launched by schoolchildren / students, but by people who have already experienced a little or a lot of professional life. On the other side of them at work, people who have already proven themselves not only as individuals, but also as colleagues, are working shoulder to shoulder. That's a pretty good option, but it's not without risks. In how long can a person endure all the difficulties and hardships of a startup life before he returns to a well-fed corporate life. A third option is acquaintances of acquaintances. It allows one to relieve oneself of responsibility and the fear of strangers. After all, someone recommended them to you, someone knows them, or someone crossed paths with them at work or in everyday life. But this option is not worthless after the first two. There is an even greater risk of breaking up with people whom someone has recommended to you, just as you are not insured in partnership with friends and colleagues. The fourth option is to look for co-founders in an incubator. It appears to be the best option. It remains only to unite around some idea, and to go ahead - to storm the heights. The incubator attracts people looking to create a startup, eager to find other like-minded people. But I have seen many examples in my lifetime when it was the personal feuds of strangers that led to the disintegration of such teams. Also, the professional qualities of people are unknown at first. A fifth option is to simply attend various startup and networking events, expand your circle of friends and acquaintances, and through this method already know who might be interested in launching a startup with you, or which of your new acquaintances can provide such people. Hence, there are many options, none of them ideal, and there is a risk of failure with the selection of the same dream team in each. Nonetheless, if you have already decided to launch a startup, then there's no need to fear difficulties. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Jan 2022 07:02 AM PST I've done a bit of research, and learned to avoid gold silver bronze packages. The company I am hoping to work with asked for tiers they can choose from. Is it safe to assume by chosing tier 3, they also choose 1 and 2, or should I specify that in the proposal? I don't want to sound dumb putting it in, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot leaving it out [link] [comments] |

Trouble finding entry level finance jobs!! Posted: 25 Jan 2022 06:14 AM PST Hi! I'm not in the finance field myself, I have some questions for my boyfriend. He graduated a year ago with his bachelors in economics, with concentrations in finance and business. He wants to be a financial analyst for a corporate company or data analyst. He does NOT want sales. He's applied to so many jobs with no luck. Everything is either sales where you're only paid commission, or he gets no response. What should he dooooo? He has office work experience but nothing directly finance. Just keep applying?? Take finance unrelated full time job to gain more real world experience?? I'm so worried. [link] [comments] |
