People who fire’d after a successful IPO, what was your exit strategy?

With a bit of luck, the company I work for will IPO next year. I have a solid number of options which would put me very close to fire. I'm trying not to get excited but I'm also trying to prepare should I get a small fortune. What was your exit strategy, how much did you sell after the IPO? How much and for how long did you keep?

    Thanks
