Question: I received mail from a large corporation yesterday. This group wants me to delete my brand name from the patent office because of risk of confusion. I registered the patent for this name in the German patent office. The two names have no relation or resemblance to each other. How can you proceed to continue using the brand name.

Looking for an experienced Entrepreneur for a career interview!

    Posted: 31 Jan 2021 09:09 PM PST

    Hi,

I'm part of a group of students at my high school that is creating a program that will bring more awareness to the large variety of careers that high school graduates can pursue post high school. We noticed that many of our classmates are not fully aware of the wide variety of careers they can pursue, and we wanted to inform them that there are many jobs available outside of the few that immediately come to mind. Since we don't know enough about these jobs to properly inform our classmates, we wanted to know if you would be interested in helping us with that task.

We are in the process of creating and posting informational videos of each career on a website. The videos are in a Q&A format with someone in the field (or is knowledgeable about day-to-day work/life in your profession) answering the questions.

I live in a third world country, in a rural area. Any income is great income. I have achieved a lot academically from childhood days but I am from a low income background and college is expensive. I decided to postpone my Banking and Finance degree till September. I applied for 15 low skill call Center BPO jobs, received a position in technical support because of my A level/associate level qualifications in I.T., Computer Science and Communications.

I would love and appreciate advice to advance my career from tech support--specialization---system administration---operations management--executive management--Entrepreneurship in Construction/Retail/I.T/I.C.T/B.P.O. in the shortest time possible. N.B. skilled I.T specialization and management and general management are needed in my country.

I have never been so motivated, seeing a paycheck and knowing I can change my life.

I am willing to study relentless and attain and pay for any certifications while I attend school part-time. I am available for zoom, discord personal server, WhatsApp, direct messaging, phone calls. If you want me to be your son I would lol, I am desperate for any wisdom you have to offer because I have no-one where I am. If its not free, I am willing to pay for your time, but I am on a budget, a scam would probably set me back a bit.

Am probably the only youth in my community my age with a proper job, I am between 19-23 years old. I am not ignorant and open to all suggestion. I will be posting this to few reddits to improve the likelihood of a response.

Advice for a newcomer to the business world

    Posted: 31 Jan 2021 12:56 PM PST

So i've been running my own small business for 6-8 months. Just finished my degree in marketing and knew a few people that needed help with their own businesses. I've really been enjoying doing it on the side of my full time role as i see every dollar i make as profit at this stage - since my overheads are nearly non-existent.

I'm just wanting some general advice, about what to do with the money i know have sitting in my business account. It isn't much, as it is only a side hustle/very small business, but i feel like i should be doing something with it instead of letting it sit there doing nothing? Should i be investing in something? Basically want to maximize my potential income from this venture while i have the time to do so.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! I'm very new to this whole business thing.
