Slowdown in America’s retail sector to hit Indian IT firms Posted: 13 May 2020 09:40 PM PDT IT services companies may see business from US retailers fall sharply, as some non-essential and luxury brands shut stores and furlough employees, analysts said. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 May 2020 09:34 PM PDT Quick question, If you were to start up a company, -how- would you approach in growing and building the business, 10 years ahead of time? First, you'd want to invest in the business and growing it individually without really picking a direction, quite yet. Once the foundation is laid, you'd want to explore how one can merge it with, for my sake, a privately owned security company. How would you set yourself up for success, to eventually grow a mother-f-behemoth^2 of a company. Why settle for less when you can have more! [link] [comments] |

Few Tax Questions Regarding Local Business Posted: 13 May 2020 06:28 PM PDT I read the rules and believe this isn't breaking any. I would like to start a local + online business involving the sale of CBD and related botanical products. This is in North Carolina USA by the way. I am 18 and have experience networking but little in business. I know how to make websites and collect payments, but I would like to be aware of legal troubles. Having an online presence means I should collect sales tax from my products, correct? Do I simply save and hold onto the money until tax season and report it? One friend had a similar business and he said he never payed tax but he was a minor at the time. I plan to further the business by selling it to smaller nearby distributors (Nearby shops and networks of friends using Cash/Venmo/Zelle/etc.) Do I need to report this? Direct in-person deals don't require sales tax, right? I'm thinking of a lemonade stand if that makes sense. Any other legal issues I should keep in mind? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks. I have an idea for a website. No experience with code. How do I start? Posted: 13 May 2020 09:16 AM PDT Do I contact someone who knows how to code? Do I draw out my ideas and what it'll look like exactly and then pitch it? If I tell someone my ideas what stops them from stealing them and doing it their self? Thanks very much for help in advance [link] [comments] |

How To Gather Information About Industry Sales and Growth Rate? Posted: 13 May 2020 07:51 AM PDT Hello, I hope my post is somehow still relevant with this reddit but I have been stuck for a few days with this issue. How can I get information about the industry sales, growth rate, number of establishments of retail/clothing industry in a specific country? I have been trying looking for them for a while and so far there's no complete graph or websites anywhere... especially in percentage. This might be pretty dumb but honestly there's no one in my family or friends that are really involved in businesses so I don't know who else to ask. Thank you. [link] [comments] |
