Dear Peasants, a 400+ drop in the Dow Jones is nothing.

    Posted: 27 Jan 2020 05:25 AM PST

There is nothing to see here. The market has boiled up higher because repo markets are proving out that the Fed will bail out the banks in a liquidity crisis. The Dow needs to fall at least another 2000 points before I'm even interested to look at it. We desperately need a good sized correction. Quit buying calls, unless you want to get ran over.

The Dow is about to face its stiffest test in years

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 10:02 PM PST

Earnings Watch: Nearly half of index, 14 out of 30 companies, expected to report holiday-season results in busiest week of the season, which also includes Facebook, Tesla and Amazon

The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased more than 22% in 2019 and is already up 2.2% through three weeks of 2020, but it is about to face its biggest test of the young year, and potentially many years.

Nearly half of the 30 Dow DJIA, -0.58% components are scheduled to report results from the holiday season in the coming week, which will be by far the busiest week of the earnings season.

There are 14 Dow companies expected to report, the most companies from the blue-chip index to report in a single week since at least 2014, a group that includes two trillion-dollar market caps in Apple Inc. AAPL, -0.29% and Microsoft Corp MSFT, -1.01% Plenty of non-Dow companies will throw their numbers in as well — 141 of the S&P 500 companies are expected to report, including Facebook Inc. FB, -0.83%, Amazon.com Inc. AMZN, -1.22% and Advanced Micro Devices Inc AMD, -2.63%

The 85 members of the S&P 500 that have reported results thus far have seen net income fall by 0.3% on average from a year ago, though Credit Suisse Chief U.S. Equity Strategist Jonathan Golub said it's tough to make broader inferences from early reports given different sectors tend to post results at different parts of the earnings cycle. More than a third of S&P 500 that have reported so far sit in the financials sector, which could skew those results.

The FactSet consensus currently calls for net income to fall by 1.9% for the S&P 500, based on a blend of reported results and analyst projections, which would mean the current earnings recession would swallow all of 2019's results.

Here's what to watch for in the week ahead.

How do you think are the markets going to react to Brexit on Friday?

As the title suggests, Brexit is on Friday the 31st. What is going to be the reaction? What is going to be more important: More uncertainty due to the negotiations to come or end of uncertainty about whether Brexit is going to happen?

Global Stocks Fall as Dangerous Coronavirus Spreads

U.S. stocks followed European markets down amid concern that the coronavirus could hurt the global economy.

Stocks tumbled on Monday and oil prices fell, as the spread of a dangerous virus in China raised investor worries about the global economy.

The sudden appearance of the coronavirus, which has now killed at least 80 people in China and infected others in Europe and the United States, among other countries, has pierced a calm that had settled over financial markets in recent months. Monday's decline in the S&P 500 followed a similar drop on Friday.

LIVE U Ne 3,000 eople, mostly in China, have now contracted the disease. China extended the Lunar New Year holiday by three days until Feb. 2 in an effort to limit travel and contain the outbreak that started in the city of Wuhan. On Sunday, a fifth case of the disease was confirmed in the United States.

The S&P 500 fell more than 1.5 percent on Monday, with shares of airlines and companies dependent on tourism from China particularly hard hit. American Airlines dropped more than 4 percent in early trading, and Wynn Resorts, which operates casinos in Macau, a special administrative region of China and a gambling haven for Chinese high rollers, dropped more than 7 percent.

Major stock benchmarks in Europe were down more than 2 percent. While many markets in Asia were closed for Lunar New Year, Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei 225 index also sank 2 percent.

Oil prices dropped, reflecting concern that travel shutdowns and other reactions to the virus could slow the global economy, and shares of major oil companies also declined. Brent crude, the international benchmark, slipped below $60 a barrel, its lowest since October.

China's leaders are under pressure as the epidemic spreads at an accelerating rate. Concerns have been raised that the government's response to the outbreak, which includes a lockdown of cities that affects 56 million people, is too late and could even make the situation worse.

One thing that caught my eye was this.... Ill see if I can post it here.

    Spotlight: Revenues

Matt, can you give us some idea of how these new products with impact revenue numbers?InnerScope has revenue models that even with the MOST conservative assumptions has EACH Kiosk generating over $10,000 per month in revenue with a HEALTHY Margin for InnerScope. Aggressive revenue models has the Kiosks generating OVER $40,000 per month per kiosk. InnerScope has already built the strategic plan for a national roll-out of our kiosks that would feed revenue to ALL of InnerScope's products like the Direct-to-Consumer Hearing Aids, the NEW OTC Hearing Aids, Vitamins, and the InnerScope Retail Stores. InnerScope is looking to deploy 2,500+ kiosks over the next few years and over 10,000 in the next 5 years.

    Conservative model:

$10,000 per month in revenue for each Kiosk

Within 2 years, company expects 2,500 kiosks.

= $25,000,000.00 per month in revenues based on a conservative model.
