Posted: 27 Aug 2019 09:30 AM PDT I am a college student who is looking to be finishing school soon. Before i finish I want to already have a savings account set up for emergencies. I've been looking into high yield savings accounts like CIT and Ally as a good place to start until i have the money to move up. My main question was if anyone knew of any high yield savings accounts that compound more than monthly? Also I noticed that there isn't much discourse about high yield savings accounts on this Reddit so i thought that this post could also potentially serve as a discussion on the topic. Does anyone else use these high yield savings accounts? How did you pick where to do your banking? And how was your experience been with your account? TL;DR: wondering if anyone knows about high yield savings accounts that compound more than monthly, and wanting to know about experiences people have had with high yield savings accounts.
