Vegan burger maker Beyond Meat raises price range in upsized IPO Posted: 01 May 2019 02:38 PM PDT 1.5B market cap seems pretty heavy but the revenue growth is there. I believe it becomes available tomorrow. Any thoughts? Will trade under the ticker BYND. [link] [comments]
ETFs for steady long term growth Posted: 01 May 2019 09:50 AM PDT I've recently switched from swing trading (gambling with extra steps) to ETFs after getting burned by some earnings report losses (looking at you Intel). I'm looking for low maintenance, low-med risk, steady return (not trying to get rich over night). These are what I have right now on Robinhood: VOO, VTI, SPY, SPYG, VOOG, VUG, SCHB, and VGLT. Tell me what you think and if I should add/remove anything. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Beyond Meat prices IPO at $25 per share: Source Posted: 01 May 2019 03:41 PM PDT https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/01/beyond-meat-prices-ipo-at-25-per-share-source.html Beyond Meat priced its initial public offering at $25 a share, a source familiar with the matter tells CNBC. That's above the company's expected range of between $23 and $25 per share, which was boosted from the originally set range of between $19 and $21 per share. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 May 2019 03:03 PM PDT I got quite a few calls out on DIS, should have sold but now I'm losing my ass. Is it smart to hold the calls until earnings or ditch this sinking ship? [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 May 2019 03:05 PM PDT When I started investing I liked to use Zack's as a research tool because it seemed like one of the best ones out there, but over time I've noticed them making a lot of questionable ratings decisions. There have been a lot of times where they've ranked something as a buy, only for it to fall suddenly and then they downgrade it after the fact. Conversely, I recently ignored them and bought several stocks that they have ranked as sell, and those have all worked out great for me. Has anyone else noticed this trend or is it just isolated to my particular experience? [link] [comments]

Explain it to me like I’m five Posted: 01 May 2019 04:44 PM PDT What is DCF - discounted cash flow ? And what then would be reverse DCF? I just don't get this. [link] [comments]
What do you think happened to the NASDAQ index around 1pm EDT today? Posted: 01 May 2019 03:56 PM PDT
Posted: 01 May 2019 06:37 AM PDT Loving the chart. So looks like the 74% reduction in common shares is done and updated on SEC. This will move hard with news. Discord room guys talking about it now. Keep watch this week and next. I think we have a runner here with a low float. [link] [comments]
Why does a stock go down when earnings is higher than expected? Posted: 01 May 2019 01:44 PM PDT I don't get how SQ went down 5 points when the earnings was higher than expected. Doesn't higher earnings mean more potential in the company? Noobie question. Sorry in advance... [link] [comments]
What's going on with oil stocks this last week? Posted: 01 May 2019 01:33 PM PDT It seems like oil has been doing pretty well these last couple months but over the last week they're starting to drop (the two main ones I'm watching are USO and NOG.) Does anyone know why? I've been looking for news articles but I can't find anything related. [link] [comments]
Tackle Trading Halftime Report May 1st 2019 Posted: 01 May 2019 09:40 AM PDT The market sets new highs, $AAPL reclaims the trillion dollar market cap, the Fed is set to announce rates this afternoon and of course plenty of earnings to discuss. We will cover it all today on the Halftime Report! #HCT #TeamTackle #trading #interview #finance #earnings #cashflow [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 May 2019 11:38 AM PDT I found some of the info I needed on NASDAQ, however, I'd like to know for future reference. Thanks to all who respond!! [link] [comments]
Sold off 45% of my portfolio and now experiencing wicked inability to act, what can I do...? Posted: 01 May 2019 09:43 AM PDT Last year, I made one of my largest trades ever and it told me that this is the method I should approach, not what it was before with much smaller trades. But now I find myself unable to act... I either set far too low of benchmarks that never get hit, or I just can't commit to hitting that buy button... For example, I've been watching IIPR for the last few months. Managed to sell around the top because the weekly started to look weak. Spent the next 10-15 days watching that stock slide 15% down to $75. And while I was expecting, high to mid 60s... it shot back up to the mid 80s, which is really hard to stomach because of the time wasted and now its nearing my exit point. So, is there a better approach to swing trading? [link] [comments]

Considerations on Growth and High Dividend Funds, SPHD/SPYG? Posted: 30 Apr 2019 11:22 PM PDT Thoughts on these funds? I'm looking to invest with about $4,000 and want have maintain the principal while bringing in steady/slow income based on dividends. Looking at having this in the market for 2-3yrs, will also be reinvesting dividends and increasing principal periodically. Heard HD has great yield, but that investing in it alone isn't smart. YG was related and a "growth" fund and seems to be a smart supplement? I'm obviously a beginner to investing and this page but am looking for some advice/help. Of course I'm also open to other advice and comments that will help me achieve my investment goals! Appreciate all the help. [link] [comments]

Site or service to share my portfolio/trades with friends? Posted: 30 Apr 2019 09:03 PM PDT I'm looking to set up a portfolio (Looking at Interactive Brokers, but open to others), but I want to have it 100% open to a group of friends to follow my trades. (can even be public, don't care). Sort of like a real time audit and they can follow along if they wish. Anyone have any sites/services that can hook into IB/others and just share my positions?
