Posted: 03 Aug 2018 02:29 AM PDT Hello, I'm making a business website, for trading hungarian handcrafted items. I have to decide the URL name, but I can't choose between handicraft and handcraft. Which one would fit better? [link] [comments] |

New To Consulting Work And I Have A Few Questions About Proposals. Posted: 02 Aug 2018 11:14 AM PDT I am slightly dislexic so there may be some typos. Just a heads up. So I have been building businesses for about 14 years now utilizing digital marketing and recently had something really fascinating sent my way. A request for a consulting proposal! I had never considered consulting as a business but when they told me they had a budget of 20k/mo for 4 months, with the possibility for renewal, for consulting with expected working hours of 20 hours a week I kinda shit my pants a little. I am used to working 80-100 hour weeks for similar money so I am submitting a proposal for this contract and seriously considering doing this full time if I enjoy the work. My questions about proposals are how long should it be, what should be included in this document and how can I make my proposal stand out? I am 99% sure I am the only person submitting a proposal for this contract specifically but I still want to over deliver in everything I do including the proposal. ALSO!!!!! Any additional tips for someone just starting out and what I can expect during this contract. For instance, they are hiring me as a marketing and growth consultant. The fuck does that mean? haha Here is what I have so far: "Requested commencement of our consulting contract is September 1st, 2018 with services completed on December 31st, 2018. I am also open to the possibility of extending these dates or amending our contract at the end of our existing contract upon mutual acceptance of terms by both the incubator and myself. I would request that I be given a 2-week notice before the end of our contract, December 31st, 2018 if the incubator would like to amend or extend our contract. Requested pricing for this contract will be $80,000 for consulting services between the dates of September 1st, 2018 and December 31st, 2018. I would also request that the $80,000 be split into 4 payments of $20,000 to be made at the end of each month of consulting work. I would also like to request that all work that will be expected of me be put into our contract." [link] [comments] |
