    Where do I start, like a site/app/place?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 10:09 AM PST

I want to get into trading stocks, I have about 300€ to start (in Bitcoin), so so you know a place that would allow me to trade stocks, were you could add funds in Bitcoin. Furthermore, a place where European nationality is not a problem(so no US sites which require your security number). Plus I have tried once, but the sites often ask like 1000€ to start and about the same for a minimal withdrawal, so do you know a place which does not have such high limits and fees?

    Thanks in advance

Why did energy stocks do so poorly in 2017?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 12:29 AM PST

I was looking at the S&P 500 and saw most of the poor performers were energy stocks. Must be because of fossil fuel regulations, threat of rising sea levels, renewable energy projects. Thoughts?

Where to put $1000 for biggest return

Give me your best pick please. I like penny stocks - I'm a risk taker and I only play stocks with money I can afford to lose.

    Weed Stocks help!

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:24 AM PST

Hello guys I am looking to put about 10% of my portfolio into weed stocks. I am looking at the big three that are commonly mentioned Aphria, Canopy and Aurora. Out of the three it seems like Canopy is the most well positioned so far but I am not sure since I am a newbie to these stocks.

So far I am looking to split my investment fairly evenly, what do guys who have invested into mary jane think about these three companies? Can all three thrive, which do you think has the edge currently, etc?

Stocks you would buy even if you are bearish on 2018?

If you thought there was a 60% chance of a 20% correction within the next 6 months but you still wanted to invest, what stocks would you buy?

Why doesn't stock price change after the split in reality?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2017 10:13 PM PST

From what I read on the internet, if a stock price is $100, after the split, the price should change (to $50 for 2/1 split ratio) to maintain its market capitalization. But this is largely untrue in the real world, the price doesn't change nearly enough to represent the math here. For example, CKH had a split of 3/2, on 2000/06/16, the closing price was $17.69, and the open price next day was $17.59. Another example, CL had a split of 2/1, the close and the open price next day were $24.34 and $24.25.

What are your thoughts about saudi aramco. They will probably go to the stockmarket in 2018 or 2019. Is it a buy? Why yes why not?
